We are excited to announce the start of REGULATORS Lacrosse.

What is Regulators Lacrosse?

Regulators Lacrosse is an East Metro traveling lacrosse program for boys age 10 to 14. However, we anticipate the program will expand to meet the needs of its surrounding lacrosse communities.

Regulators lacrosse was created by local lacrosse coaches who are very passionate about the sport of lacrosse. They themselves have either played for or coached for a travel program. The experiences and friendships they obtained from such a program has left such a positive impression that they wish to pass on the same opportunity to other young lacrosse players.

Why Regulators Lacrosse?

There are three major reasons that makes Regulators lacrosse attractive to lacrosse families.

1. Season – The season is mid-March to mid-April. It’s 4 to 5 weeks of intense training with a couple of scrimmages capped with an elite level tournament. It will not compete or conflict with your summer association competition. In fact, the Regulators' season will be elite level preparation for your association’s summer season. The Regulators lacrosse coaching staff are also coaches and supporters of summer association play.

2. Local practices – All practices will be on the East side of the metro. Parents will not need to take vacation time from work to get their budding professional athlete to practice.

3. Affordable – We believe this program to be very affordable for families who often considered such an opportunity but felt the price tag to do so was not worth canceling the family vacation.

Our Goal

Regulators lacrosse aims to prepare your son for life’s challenges and for high school lacrosse, not college lacrosse. We fully anticipate that the training your son will receive during his time with the Regulators will prepare him to be a successful high school student athlete.

While improving his lacrosse skills, your son will also develop life skills such as teamwork, sacrifice, leadership, accountability and goal setting to name a few. And, he will also develop relationships and memories that while last him a life time all while having fun.

Rip the Cow - Milwaukee, WI April 14-15, 2018

The tournament guarantees four games with up to two additional games depending on performance. Prior to our departure, we will have two local scrimmages. See schedule below for tentative dates.

U-12 (9/1/05) and U14 (9/1/03)

There will be one team per age group. The goal is for each team to have 5 defenders, 8-9 midfielders, 4-5 attackman and 2 goalies totaling 20 players.

$599 - The cost includes all indoor practice times, scrimmages, coaching, tournament registration, charter bus transportation, hotel, uniform, a game ticket to Saturday’s Marquette vs Providence Division I men’s lacrosse game. Your son will only need a meal allowance. Parents are welcome to travel on their own, but do not need to. Each team will have two coaches and two or three chaperones.

Additional Perks

Members of the Regulators will also receive the following:

-$50 off the East Side Lacrosse Camp in Lake Elmo, MN June 19-21 featuring pro attackman and national champion MARCUS HOLMAN and other special guests TBA.

-Fall Team – Regulators Lacrosse is considering offering a similar fall option (Mid-Sept to mid-Oct). All returning players would receive $50 off the fall travel team option.

In all honesty, we cannot predict what the first year will bring. We may struggle to field a team or we may have 50 plus trying out for each team. However, we have heard parents loud and clear regarding their concerns with a travel team. We feel that we have taken significant steps to create a positive situation for families and with that, we truly feel that this program will flourish quickly.

To attend "try-outs" you we request that you register by March 1st and have a current membership with US Lacrosse.

There is no cost to try-out.

Hope to see you out there!
