For the 2nd year in a row, East Side Lacrosse and STX are excited to bring a quality, educational and affordable lacrosse camp to the East Side metro lacrosse communities.  Many lacrosse camps either promote that they are an affotdable camp by local coaches or they promote professional players with a hefty price tag.  The East Side Lacrosse camp is excited to bring you the best of both experiences.  This camp features passionate local veteran coaches with lengthy resumes as well as highly motivated young coaches who are currently or have recently played collegiate lacrosse.  Additionally, through our partnership with STX, we are able to bring you the best of the best, professional player Marcus Holman.  Please see his impressive resume below.  Furthermore, we are adding daily guess presenters/speakers such as an NCAA Official, a Collegiate Coach and a Strength Training Coach just to name a few.

PRO Player Marcus Holman

Marcus currently plays Major League Lacrosse for the Ohio Machine and has served as captain for the past three seasons. He was named 2014 Machine Offensive Player of the Year and has also been an MLL All-Star for the past three seasons. Holman finished the 2016 season 2nd in goals scored and 4th in total points.

After graduating from UNC, Marcus has helped grow the sport of lacrosse all over the country working camps and clinics for new and top level programs.  He currently coaches at the University of Utah and has served as an assistant coach at Durham Academy from 2014-2015 and Cary Academy and the Bucktown Lacrosse Club out of Raleigh, NC in 2016.

Marcus is from Baltimore, Maryland and attended the Gilman school. He played lacrosse at the University of North Carolina and graduated in 2013 as a 3x All-American. He finished his collegiate career with 213 points, 121 goals and 92 assists breaking the UNC record.  In 2013, he led the Tar Heels to the ACC Championship, was sole team captain, and a Tewaaraton Finalist. He won the Turnbull Trophy as the Tar Heels’ most valuable player for three consecutive years and most valuable offensive player for two years. He earned first team All-America honors and was named ACC Rookie of the Year in 2010.
